Data Portal

 Participation for Romania:
An open data and data visualization platform

 Solution under development

Data Portal is an open data platform that aims to digitize and automate civil society datasets in order to increase citizens' awareness and encourage the development of community projects and programs based on accurate and coherent datasets. We also support data-driven media in order to build a unique platform for storing relevant and information for all citizens.

The platform is easily replicable at the level of local and / or central institutions and allows for the customization of the import of data sets specific to each actor who wants to open public data.

Source Code

All code written by the Code for Romania community is open-source. We aim to build, contribute to and encourage the development of Romania's code library to increase the quality of software solutions in the public space and beyond. Open source development increases the quality of the digital infrastructure built by digital actors, reduces costs by reusing code in different contexts, increases transparency, eliminates reliance on single providers and encourages the strengthening of contributor communities among specialists who can report errors or improve components and functionality.
