Participation for Romania:
Legal education and legal aid for teens
Solution under development
Most young people have insufficient legal knowledge to handle the various situations they may face (e.g. teacher injustice, criminal liability of minors, domestic violence, bullying, etc.), which is why they do not know the legal means of defense that the law offers. Through EduLex, every student who has access to a smartphone and an internet connection will have a digital friend, who can correctly advise and guide him when he has a legal problem. At the same time, the project aims to build a solid knowledge base for these young people, through interactive activities (including legal-themed games) and communication materials tailored to them, to familiarize them in an more attractive way with concepts of law and justice.

Source Code
All code written by the Code for Romania community is open-source. We aim to build, contribute to and encourage the development of Romania's code library to increase the quality of software solutions in the public space and beyond. Open source development increases the quality of the digital infrastructure built by digital actors, reduces costs by reusing code in different contexts, increases transparency, eliminates reliance on single providers and encourages the strengthening of contributor communities among specialists who can report errors or improve components and functionality.
