 Care for Romania:

Access to medical services for Ukrainian children suffering from cancer

 Live Solution

The lives of children suffering from cancer depend on specialized treatment. This is where such children may find in Romania the critical help they require. Code for Romania built this platform for Asociația Dăruiește Aripi and Societatea Română de Onco-Hematologie Pediatrică so they could provide every Ukrainian child fighting cancer quick, easy and targeted access to all the needed medical services in Romania. The platform also provides solutions for other logistical or social needs of the families accompanying these children. Anyone, be it a parent, relative or friend of an Ukrainian child suffering from cancer and requiring medical assistance, may ask for medical services through this system.

Source Code

All code written by the Code for Romania community is open-source. We aim to build, contribute to and encourage the development of Romania's code library to increase the quality of software solutions in the public space and beyond. Open source development increases the quality of the digital infrastructure built by digital actors, reduces costs by reusing code in different contexts, increases transparency, eliminates reliance on single providers and encourages the strengthening of contributor communities among specialists who can report errors or improve components and functionality.
