Hiring - Fundraising Officer

We're looking to expand our team with a Fundraising Officer with the skills and desire to change the world around them for the better. Submissions deadline Monday, 7th of November.

Code for Romania has been transforming our country through technology for almost seven years. By creating the infrastructure to monitor elections, to combat the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, addressing urgent needs of refugees coming in from Ukraine etc by imagining the right tools to solve a diverse array of social blockages such as domestic violence or access to education, we update Romania one app at a time. Every project is unique in challenges and every ecosystem brings innovation and sustainability in the fields it addresses. 

We are looking for someone who:

✔️Identifies, negotiates and manages relationships with donors and sponsors for Code for Romania’s programmes and projects 

✔️Represents the organization in fundraising, pitching or presentation meetings with potential sponsors and keeps track of contracting status for our programmes and our adopted projects

✔️Manages any other ad-hoc fundraising efforts and works closely with the communications team 

✔️Co-drafts together with the CFO the fundraising strategy for our organization

✔️Implements the fundraising strategy according to planning and following the set objective and KPIs

✔️Reports regularly on the fundraising strategy results to the CFO and may propose adjustments, optimisation tactics, new conversion tactics or new ideas for fundraising at any moment during implementation.
